That “pen” today

Nah it wasn’t even handbags at dawn, the ref handled it very well for me.

Edit - although I was worrying when he booked cabango and there was a delay In the red coming out!

Looks like he forgot that he'd already booked him until he looked at the names written on the back of the yellow card.

I can understand why he gave it as it was a goal bound shot and his arm looked away from his body from the one replay I’ve seen. As others have said though he had a good game as is probably the best ref in the league. He’ll be back in the Premier League within a couple of years.

I must of had a good view from the south stand because I knew it was a penalty straight away,it looked accidental but prevented a goal,so for me a good decision.

Nah, Jones was rightly booked for wasting time but that’s all he did. Cabango had a nightmare, i thought the ref had a good game, seemed to get most things right.

Disagree with that, he passed the ball back when ref asked and walked off. He basically got booked for been pushed over. If he had not been pushed over he would not have got the yellow card. Ball was back towards ref and free kick about to be set.

He was booked for those kick ups which was time wasting, a silly booking really.

He was booked for that? He was fouled and the ref blew, he then proceeded to do 5-6 kick ups and a back heel which was time wasting

Cabango knew he'd messed up straight away, he put his hands to his head like "oh carp what have done"

We need VAR in the EFL, Championship at least. Though even with VAR they are making 'wrong' decisions: Man City last week, given & yesterday correctly not giving the MU one against McTominay ( looked like it hit his ares about 3 times in the one moment, though correctly not given, imho )

In seasons to come I can imagine the 'ref' in the middle being the mouthpiece for the refs in the stands a panel of 3 giving the calls by 2:1 vote & many calls: offsides being determined by sensors & the official in the middle just relaying the decision - should cut out dissent..

That's when I'll start going to none-league football. Can't be doing with the abomination that's VAR.
