That stout looks intersting. Is that Beer52? I've cancelled my membership, I might restart it end of March, I tried looking for a stout and porters only subscription site, but couldn't find one.

It is beer 52. I got the full 12 pack of the melbourne beers thats shown above. There was a black forest stout in the extras which was rather interesting

Is it worth being a member of Beer 52 ? Are those 8 cans what I'd normally have got for £24 ? I had to join to get the free pack, just trying to decide if I should cancel it now they've come.

There are plenty of offers. So once you have done your reviews it will offer you 10 for £24 (going up to £29 month after) but then it will offer 12 for £29 (£34 month after) but you can downgrade at anytime. If you ring up to cancel they will offer you half price 8 pack next month. Im at £34 for 12 but clicked on the cancel button and it give me £5 straight off so im still at 12 for £29
 
Decided on Newky Brown for tonight. Pondered selections for 10 minutes in the supermarket earlier today then just gave up and went for the easy option.

Missed the 4pm cut off time for same day deliver from House of the Trembling Madness much to my chagrin.
 
After reading a recommendation from @Sammysmiths on here I got some of the beers in from the Three Brothers brewery over Christmas and they were all excellent.

Particularly enjoyed their festive special edition Orange and Cranberry IPA. They should make it all year round it was that good *slurp*
 
Discovered some out of date ales, stouts in the garage. Don't like waste although some 3 years out of date. Hope I see tomorrow.....

How does alcohol go out of date? It's like that spring water that comes from under volcanos for millions of years but it has a use by date-.................... strange:)
 
It should be fine. The stronger it is the more likely it will be that it has maintained its form. The worst that can happen is that it has gone off which you'll know about and you can pour it away.
 
Yep all good, Hop Scotch whiskey oak beer, mocha stout, Courage... Few more to test. All good so far 👍Will they get stronger or weaker?
 
Friday is my one 'normal' day of the week as I finish work on Thursday morning and start again on Saturday night so Friday does have a certain 'feel' to it.
