Sheff utd , went behind , came out fired up to hell ....aided by a dissinterested side who's managers leaving ....but jumped on their throat & got it done ......will we show such desire tomorrow ?.....i fear not .

Though have to admit i think we are not play off good enough anyway , next year however !!!

We're on a good run, playing a team at the bottom without a win in 6. Even worse they've got one of our former strikers playing who couldn't hit a barn door.

Every team plays to the whistle. If we made the playoffs.. it’s a whole new ball game.

Crooks rested, Fry back, McGree looking pretty fly, Payero waiting in the wings and two premier league strikers on loan ready to unload a seasons worth of pent up goalscoring!

As for getting our head in where it hurts.......oh dear.
Not sure you can coach it but i'd love to see us get a few players in who could competitively challenge in the penalty area.
Guess we're not the only fans who want this.
But come on, how hard can it be....just look at the corners scored by the scousers

To be fair, Sheff U are a side with a lot of Premiership experience and the division's outstanding young player in Gibbs-White (along with Carvalho). Since their poor start they;ve been value for their play-off spot.

I think we were always going to fall a little short due to an iffy goalie and lack of firepower. As long as we can address those glaring issues and can hold onto our players - with Spence sold that should be possible, right? - we can give it a good go next season I'm sure. We're not as close as, say, Karanka's team was when we lost to Norwich at Wembley, but it's similar.
