I bet you could tell they were 4 different drinks, colour & taste, if not which was which.Doesn't most lager taste the same? I mean I'm partial to one on a hot summers day and I might be able to tell the difference between a good German/Czech lager compared to the standard supermarket lagers but genuinely don't think I could tell the difference between Becks, Madri, Heineken, San Miguel etc
Cruzcampo is becoming the new Madri I think.
Decent lager at best but a lot of happy times and memories drinking it around Seville. It tastes awful in Spain so haven't bothered with it here.
You can get Victoria Malaga in Sainsbury's, in bottles. It's brewed in Malaga and imported. I believe the cask version is brewed by the UK arm of Damm brewery though (where they brew the UK version of Estrella Damm)I'd wager the Cruzcampo bears absolutely zero resemblance to the Cruzcampo here.
What's the thing with "Spanish" lagers on draught ? - I believe you can get Estrella over there now and my son tells me he can get Victoria (Malaga brewery) in a pub near him in Hampshire ...... it'll have been nowhere near Malaga and taste totally different
Same. Spent plenty of time in the KLM lounge at Schiphol where Heineken is the only option!I find Heineken quite distinctive as I’ve spent too long on airports spending disgusting amounts of money on it.
I prefer the other Portuguese beer to Super Bok but can’t remember the name!Super Bock is tremendous and Red Stripe on tap.
Sagres?I prefer the other Portuguese beer to Super Bok but can’t remember the name!
Edit: Madri is absolutely rank by the way!
