Why would anybody take that job, apart from the money? They clearly aren't going to stay up, and will likely be completely adrift by the end of January.

Fair - but he was barely in the job a year a d it ended acrimoniously. Before he came to us he could boast that he'd significantly improved every team he'd managed. He left us more or less where he found us, only with a left sided centre back.
 
I said pre-season that I didn’t think they would get more than 12 points this season, probably not going to be too far out.
