The club have got it wrong

Wholesale changes in January haven’t worked. Why make that many changes, paticularly loan deals. Only ELL needed a replacement up that end

The team looks lost. Carrick abandoned his philosophy first half and we looked terrible

First time I’ve thought season over now. I’m wavering on Carrick. Think the next game is a must win

I don't think that many fans will care about points and the table against Watford because they just want to see us play a full match like a team of professional footballers: if we ship in a stupid goal to let them score first then the atmosphere is going to be awful.

(It's going to start flat anyway because we have seen so little over the past couple of months to give you optimism.)

Yep… Riverside might not be a nice place to be on Saturday

Strengthened completely the wrong areas for me, but they said they couldn't get the players they wanted, so are keeping their powder dry till summer..

We needed signings, but we’ve bought for the wrong positions.

RB, CB and CDM were desperately needed.
Maybe they tried to get players in in those positions but they weren't available? The signing of Edmundson suggests panic stations. We all know how hard it is to get players in.

Not an excuse as I'm sicker tonight than I have been for a long long time and have tried to remain optimistic.

I do think big changes are coming, again. And it's not good

If we get beat by Watford I'd be tempted to make a change, whilst there's still enough time for a new manager to come in and turn our form around so that we can make the play-offs.
I think it's too late to turn it around. We just don't have the players with strength to do that, no matter who comes in. There's is nothing they could with the back 6

The team are weak and we didn't address that in the window

Said months ago he should be gone, so obvious what was coming. That was embarrassing tonight, we didn’t even look like a team in the same league as them.

The club have let him down badly in January, but he still isn’t getting the best from this squad.

Only option if we want to salvage something from this season

As others have mentioned, Morris is playing too deep, Ayling is being allowed to push forward and doesn't have the legs to get back when we lose the ball. We're getting caught out by the transition.

Another manager may recognise this and at least take action to help us becoming more organised and tougher to play against.

We did look like a team from League One at times tonight. It's always so telling when for all the 'pass pass go' there's no pattern of play and the player receiving the ball very rarely seemed to know what the next pass was going to be tonight.

Game management **** poor again. Sheff U gave away a daft handball for a free kick on the touchline in our half and instead of taking a breath and taking time with it, we played it quickly towards our own penalty box and started doing triangles allowing Sheff U to nearly overrun us.

It's like a team of roombas, all doing the same thing until told otherwise.

Yeah, the passing was terrible tonight but there never seemed like a game plan anyway, particularly first half. Maybe that was Seff U taking the game straight to us and we had no answer

Same. But we were dismissed as negative.

Nothing has changed since.
