The building needs to be completely renovated which is why it's had no real private investment. The council will hopefully put in enough money to at least get it up to a point where it's commercially viable but the current state of their finances doesn't exactly make that look likely. It might need some sort of government or lottery funding to get it done. It would make a great sports bar or live venue if it was done to a high enough standard.
Word on the street is that Andy Preston is having it turned into his own photography studio.
Each room will be done out as a part of the Boro, and he will pose there for his publicity shots instead of having to actually go out into the community.
This will leave him more time to look at porn on his computer, although he will use the 'public denials' room to state that this never happened.

No, I support the purchase. My policy would be to negotiate a cheaper price.Would Labour's policy be to leave it derelict then?
Any ideas what could be done with it?No, I support the purchase. My policy would be to negotiate a cheaper price.
No idea mate, I suspect a bucket load of cash will need to be spent on it first. I've no idea where that will come from as we're skint.Any ideas what could be done with it?
Lots of scope for the place.
They just paid the initial asking price without negotiating? That's crazy. No, I support the purchase. My policy would be to negotiate a cheaper price.
