If any of you watch this series how interesting has this pursuit of treasure and info been over the years ?
Absolutely love it.
It seems from the latest episodes that they are getting close ro revealing a lot of information and recover some treasure maybe.

Anyone who hasn't seen it...have a binge watch
It's effectively 2 brothers..Nice guys...who are funding an exploration of an island that has significant links to potentially significant hauls of treasure

If you want some easy interesting viewing give it a Whirl.

Same boat as Hunting for Bigfoot, nothing has or will ever happen. Pointless!

Haha. I agree. Strangely enough I’m quite addicted to the Bigfoot hunters, the GCBRO Gold Coast Bigfoot Research Organisation. They are as mad as a box of frogs. Running around in the woods in the middle of the night with guns that would destroy a tank! Haha. One minute they are saying hush and the next they hear or see something and start screaming, shouting and running with guns pointing! If there was a Bigfoot it would be watching and laughing at their behaviour!

They reassure families living deep in the woods who have had ? encounters with Bigfoot that they will give them peace of mind and help them and they fail to deliver every time.

They always find tracks, footprints, hear noises, and listen to people’s accounts of seeing or hearing Bigfoot and you know nothing will come of it at all. I still watch though. I’m hooked!

Hundreds of seemingly reasonable people claim to have seen a 8 foot tall, hairy beast and yet no positive evidence exists to validate this at all. That’s probably what makes me interested in the programme? It’s the mystique of it all. A bit like the chupacabra sightings. Paranormal or haunt channel on virgin, I love the fact they repeat them all too!

I watched the first couple of series and found the whole treasure hunting based on history intriguing. Yet after 5000 (ish lol) episodes of finding feck all it's bordering on ridiculous. Whole series and episodes where nothing happens.

File under Bigfoot and Ancient Aliens. I think Ancient Aliens is it's 20 something series? Yet still no 'proof' of anything.

I mean if Bigfoot appeard or a UFO hovered over a City it would be 'breaking news'. That's on Sky and every other major news channel in the world. You wouldn't have to wait for episode 19 of series 22 to find out about it.

I'll watch them. I'm a bit of a UFO geek. Yet absolute drivel in terms of anyone provided any proof about anything. I guess people keep watching. So that's enough to keep making episodes.

Don't get me wrong I'd love the day that I turn on sky sports news it has 'breaking news' and it's a UFO hovering over a City. Hopefully during soccer Saturday as I'm sick of hearing 'goal at the Riverside' 😂

I'm sure I read about this before and it's thought the show is basically faked? I think one of the discoveries was an ancient Roman sword which turned out to be a common replica and people on reddit had the exact same one

I love it but after many years all they have found are some old wood ,a couple of coins and a lead cross. Some interesting stories linking the site with Knights Templar and the free masons though.

Me too....its been such a slow removal of layers....I really hope their hard work pays off.. it would be pretty amazing if they were to unearth some spectacular trove

When i was a kid I remember we used to build dens in the woods and create all kinds of stories about buried treasure or smugglers or monsters that we would then set out to discover and explore. All kinds of rubbish really.

Turns out I should have just kept that going into adulthood and I could now have my own TV show.
