On a fry up

Now I am totally opposite, red sauce for bacon and brown sauce for sausage....Agree with most. Id get rid of the mushrooms. They go cold far too quickly and yes definitely baked beans to lubricate the breakfast.
its brown sauce for bacon and ketchup for sausage. When both are on the plate brown wins.

How about the scenario of having a nice piece of gammon, with egg, chips and garden peas, surely that has to be red sauce?
this is the correct method for sauce.

I’ve been known to lace the old pie, Mash and gravy with mint sauce....
Yes I would say red sauce
pie chips and gravy - brown
Beans
Mushrooms (not tinned)
Cumberland Sausage
Black Pudding
Bacon
2 x fried eggs.
All finished off with a mug of strong tea and two slices of toast will proper butter
Also has to be HP Brown sauce.... None of this tesco / aldi muck![]()
If it's quality food why spoil the flavour with a sauce?
I don’t see it as spoiling the taste, rather enhancing the taste.....If it's quality food why spoil the flavour with a sauce?

Make sure you get a big plate like Alan Partridge.
Oh and use the sausage as a 'break water' to keep the beans off the bread. Funny but also top advice![]()
Keep talking dirty to me....i like my beans to infiltrate the bread. Just to overlap say a quarter of the toast.
