The pressure is off today

The pressure is largely off today as well for the first time in weeks so be interesting how that impacts the game and the crowd as we shouldn’t be as nervy and twitch as we were.

Not sure I agree. It’s a huge game. If we win we’re well in this play off hunt. If we don’t, it’s highly likely we don’t make up enough ground in the short amount of games remaining.

What we should have now though is some confidence and we should see a better performance than recent home games.

I mean the pressure to win is largely off do we can enjoy the game more and hopefully play with more freedom and if need be take a few risks. We are not looking below us anymore as we were only a few weeks ago.

Different kind of pressure I suppose. If we'd lost the last 3 games, pressure would be very negative. Today the pressure is still there but it's positive. We can play with more freedom, but we might have to be patient. Some of our problems at home have come from us being to open at times.

Don't agree there's glimmer of hope for play offs now and we haven't played well at home since Villa. There will be expectation for a good performance today.

Expectation yes and of course we want to win but unlike others games we don’t have to win.

So the fear factor has gone. On and off the pitch.

Yes we probably won't go down and probably wouldn't have anyway. That pressure was there for about 2 games.

The pressure of winning and putting on a display at home will be there today and will always be. If we don't perform some fans will show discontent.

Maybe your thread title is a bit misleading.
