The Queen tests positive for Covid

Says she'll continue to carry out light duties.
Whereas I have been confined to my cabin on board since Monday, and cannot leave until I provide negative LFTs on two consecutive days. If not I have to do 10 days isolation.

Doesn't have to isolate from next week. We can just all crack on.

Absolutely no positives to getting it now. No time off work😂

How could and why would a company enforce that? They will have to provide full pay if you are fit for work, which you will be once the law to self-isolate is lifted.
 
I'm glad she's managed to get a test.

Our lass has mild symptoms and works in home care with vulnerable clients. Whether it's Covid or a cold will cost us £36 quid for a PCR test to find out.

Then we have the tories about to say people with Covid don't need to self isolate anymore.

They will only be happy when the whole herd has it.

they'll pay for you to stay at home until two clear LFTs. Why would they allow someone back to work to infect other colleagues and cause disruption?

A company will pay people full whack to stay at home? What?

People infected with covid will be told they will only get sick pay so they will be forced to work. So will anyone else they infect.

If the alternative is half the workforce out with covid and possible lawsuits for allowing people in the workplace with covid, then yes, many companies will
