The team that finish 6th

Relax, don’t over think it

It really doesn’t matter who finishes where and who we play

At our best we will win the play offs
Below our best and we probably won’t

And the bit about ‘teams on a run’ doesn’t matter. Runs end and start all the time.
If we are cack from now to the play offs, still make then start a run - all will be well.
Definitely, momentum is a much overused word in sport I think.

Play offs just have that lottery aspect to them, an unlucky deflection, a piece of individual brilliance or a poor piece of refereeing all can have a disproportionate season deciding result.

All we can do is make certain we qualify, then make sure we give a proper account of ourselves and then the rest may come down to who the gods are smiling on that day.

I would take those 5 and 6ths as they are, we get 3500 from Millwall as an away allocation and 6000+ from Blackburn in the playoffs. If we get Coventry I think they limit us to 2000 after only giving them to 2000 in the final regular game and Norwich, WBA, and Sund will keep us at under 2000. Preston won't give us that end maybe 3500 in the playoffs.
From a football perspective we just have to get our attitude right on the days and I don't care who we play, funnily enough if we get to Wembley their big pitch might suit us and our out wide pacey players.

Boro vs Blackburn semi then a Luton Final?

Are going to be dangerous because whoever it is are going to have to go on a run to take that spot so are going to be on form going into the play offs.
Looking at the fixtures for the different teams I have a sneaky suspicion that West Brom might sneak in.

Sunderland and dangerous? Not their team thats for sure :ROFLMAO:

Rules are different in the playoffs you dont have to offer more than 2k to the away team if you dont want

Gonna add something different to the thoughts.

Pukki, 2( in 1 game) and B Brereton 3 goals since start of January. That's about 18 games each . Both of them are off from their clubs on a free at end of season. Neither have nailed on contracts with new clubs although they will know whats going on behind the scenes. Neither of these are busting a gut , in order to avoid an injury and both have been their clubs star attackers up to now. Whilst they can still score if found free in the box , I'd say unconcious bias about avoiding all inury is holding them back, consequently their clubs results have stalled. I can't see either of these 2 making the play offs , also because the rest of their team mates are also not free scoring. I have to go fro Coventry, if they can avoid defeat against Blackburn next game they then have 2 home games vs Reading and Birmingham. They also have 2nd best scorer in div after Akpom and he just scored 2 last match. They also lost only once in 12 games. So regardless they play us last game . If they don't lose to Blackburn , they could take that last spot

My gut feeling is it will be Milwall finishing 5th and Sunderland 6th.

Millwall have an easy run-in on paper and Sunderland are now just going all out to win each game and do have some good attacking players, meaning they're going to score goals.

I know that's why I put the teams who I think will give us more than 2k, possibly Millwall for the playoff might not give us 3500 but it's potentially there at the moment, yesterday they had Millwall fans in the same stand as Preston fans which they definitely won't do for the playoffs.
