The Traitors.

She couldn't think past her fanny flutters Did she not ask herself why Jaz wouldn't have just voted to end the game if he was a traitor?
She couldn't have thought that there was a traitor left after Andrew went. So she voted with whom she wanted to split the dosh. Good TV with a classic skullduggery from a man v woman. Definitely let her headt rule her head. Not the way to play. It's clear to me that if you are quiet, and a bit naive the traitors will use you and keep you in. Same happened last year.

I thought Jaz, Andrew and Molly all had the chance to do more at the end. Still, I guess it's hard to think and articulate clearly under that pressure, and Harry was the best at it.

As has been said, Molly didn't believe either of the last 2 were traitors, but had to vote for someone.

One other though: a gambling faithful might choose to eliminate another faithful in the last 3. It's a huge risk, but for 15k some would do it. It may have appeared that that was what Jaz was trying to do.

If Jaz had taken the initiative and spoken to Andrew before the roundtable about Harry, they could have banished Harry. That would have suited Andrew, and then it would have been far easier for Jaz to convince Molly that Andrew was a traitor.

He did have the chance, when he played his “banishment” card, he was asked to explain why
The votes had already been 'locked in' at that point though.
I doubt it would have made a difference anyway. She was convinced there were no traitors left and wanted to share with Harry

He couldn't. The final votes were made with no discussions or debate.
Except they allowed Mollie to ask Harry if it was him and him to reply.

Feels like this was all gerrymandered for Harry to win...since when has 'the votes aren't locked in until everyone is happy' been a thing?

Never known anyone be allowed to change a vote like that before.

My guess is the faithfuls won last time, the BBC wanted a traitor win this time to keep it interesting.

Absolutely no sympathy for Mollie whatsoever. She allowed her heart to rule her head and didn’t understand they were playing a game. That said they could get together as a couple back in the real world and share anyway.
Harry has “the other half”so that rules out Molly unless he cheats on her!

In fairness, I thought the format should have allowed for more discussion between rounds of voting.

Contestants were only really asked why they wanted to vote or end it. Some, like Andrew, used that to jab a finger at another player, but there was little real opportunity to persuade, argue or substantiate accusations

I'm starting to think it was maybe all a setup.
The first series ending was spoilt a bit when one of the remaining two traitors basically grassed on the other one when he was banished.
Otherwise he had it in the bag.

The had a chance for discussion between the 1st banishment and the end game. The rules are laid out, that’s why at the final round table for me jaz wasn’t head strong to push his agenda

How on earth did that person win?

The person who was the cleverest.. made the dumbest move.. four in and they knew who one was going to vote.

Then the next round they would have defo voted for.. that one to win it.

Why would a traitor chose to banish? Can’t really feel sorry for someone being such an idiot at the end.

Feels a bit like a fix.. the winner won by the others losing lol

She thought all 3 left were faithful as she’d voted to end the game. Once he chose to banish she had to vote for someone, it wasn’t because she thought he was a traitor.

As a wise man once said, everything on TV is scripted even if they pretend it isn't. Why would they spend so much money to leave any drama to chance?

Just started to watch Australian season 2 on Iplayer
Tbey have decided to can it after Series 2 in Oz. You will understand why after youve seen it.

Think it will have a short shelf life. Already has the vibes of going down the Big Brother route with contestants becoming z listers. Diane is appearing on everything at the moment. Just waiting for a celebrity traitors to come out.

I think the series is contrived, necessarily so, due to a flaw in the game design. It would make for a boring series if all traitors were voted out by the 6th episode. Faithful would become a bit suspicious when people stopped being murdered. So, the traitors have to be able to recruit to an extent, even if it makes eliminating traitors early on pointless. But there does have to be a traitor in the last 5 or 6.

Do I think it was rigged so the eventual winner would win? No. I've heard a few theories in the last day that verge on tin foil hat territory, but most are just good old confirmation bias. They ignore evidence that doesn't support their theory. The shock announcement that there would be no murder on the final night, for example, certainly didn't help the eventual winner: it made it a lot harder. We all know who would have been murdered, and the final victory would have been more certain had that murder gone ahead. Had they not won, I'd be getting a load of messages saying that twist was contrived just to stop him from winning.
