I see the UN is being further politicised in Gaza at the expense of the suffering innocent. Is it time it was disbanded and replaced by a new world order?

No but it does need removing from the USA as it’s too self interested esp where Israel is concerned. It needs relocating to Switzerland.

The veto of the 5 permanent members ( basically the allies from ww2) needs re structuring as well if not removing to a more democratic reflective model. Where the farcical numbers of 150 for but 1 against is enough to stop a vote, how can this be right.

Don’t forget the UN was born out of the failed League of Nations that was so toothless before WW2.

There are allegations that aid workers in Gaza, engaged by the UN, participated in the October 7th terrorist attack. It is alleged that others 'celebrated' the attack. The allegations need investigating. Just imagine, UN aid workers participating in or celebrating a terrorist attack that involved torture, rape, genital mutilation and ultimately murder. Not a great look that.

This is why there needs to be a complete reorganisation of the structure. I agree somewhere like Switzerland would be a good location.
There is way too much political interference for it ever to work effectively. The latest incident just leaves it open for rejection to suit the agenda of the respective parties.
