* The Unofficial “Official” Chelsea v Boro - Carabao Cup SF [2nd leg] Match-Night Thread *

Have we ever been such underdogs? Chelsea only 1.18 to win (0.18/1).
What an achievement it would be to get a result.

I can't see us scoring from a break, but perhaps from a set piece or some intricate play. Such a shame that away goals don't count as one goal would leave them needing three. They still have to score though...

I assumed that was the case but thought I'd check the official EFL site:
If the aggregate score is level at the end of ninety minutes in either in the second leg of the Semi-Final, an extra half hour will be played and if the aggregate score is still level at the end of extra time, the winner will be determined by by a penalty shootout.

In addition, away goals do not count in the Carabao Cup Semi-Finals.
Does no one proof read articles any longer?

This will be a test of our playing out from the back and possession play. We need to keep the ball for 90+ minutes and draw 0.0!

We are being as attacking as we can be I think, but the formation is a mystery again of course
Carrick talked about the front players and down the wings - with players “flipping” sides - automatically during play. If we can pull that off, it will pull Chelsea all over the place.

Chelsea's tactics seem to be "steam-train" it at our defence, thinking they'll keep the ball.

And again on Sky. We’re not any particular formation, it depends on where the ball is…

If Chelsea think they just need to turn up they are in for a rude awakening.

There is no way they win this in second gear.
