If they dont go up, they`l lose Rutter, Summerville, Gnoto and Pero. Good luck to them.

Gilbert still has a lot to prove. He had a good 25 minutes tonight but he came on when we were starting to really get at Leeds.

Can he do that every week. We don't know. Same with bangura. Liked the look of him the few times I have seen him but just haven't seen enough of him.

But Leeds may also not be promoted come the last day of the season!
 
Carrick apparently furious with the officials at the end of the game and chased 'em down the tunnel. Not surprised, the officials were trash and Tony Harrington and his team were supposed to be 'PL officials'.
 
Downing a leeds fan now was my overall impression tonight watching sky. Overall too many players not up to standard. Thomas, dijksteel, silvera and even howson not good enough
 
Where's Gilbert been in all these weeks of us having no CF or starting Silvera / Greenwood? Looks decent at finding little pockets of space and some cracking passes.

Lost to a offside goal and a brainless pen.

Still more positives than negatives. Hopefully keep hold of key players and add some quality. Plenty to look forward too next season. Although we will do well to hang on to Lath at this rate 🙄
 
To be straight, we haven't had a settled team all season, due to injuries, international breaks and other reasons. All considering, we deserve plaudits for that and Carrick and the staff deserve credit for a job well done given the incredibly difficult tasks he has had to face.

I thought they were pretty terrible all game.

A lot of "look at me" decisions.

I also would like to see all three of their first half goals again.
- Gnonto definitely offside.
- Bamford borderline
- And I swear one of their players was a mile off in the lead up to the penalty (which is a pen, but rutter buys by stopping and dangling his leg out)

To be fair I thought 'Mr Leeds' Ayling came accoss as a proper Boro player. Plenty of 'us' and 'the boys'. Hopefully a sign he wants to join in the summer.

That or he just hid his Leeds side well😂
 
Dieng 5 - error for Bamfords goal
Dijksteel 4 - league one player
Rav 6 - largely did well but made it too easy for Summerville to come inside
Clarke 6 - also at fault along with Dieng for bamford goal
Thomas 6 - probably his best game but still not the level we need
Howson 8 - our best midfielder
O’Brien 6 - not quite the level we need, a big drop from Hackney
Jones 6 - smart work for his goal but doesn’t do enough with his crosses
Azaz 7.5 - starting to look the part
Silvera 5 - passenger
Lath 9 - 2 great finishes lots of hard work

Gilbert 7 - made a difference with some progressive passes
Bangura 7 - better than Thomas
Barlaser 6 - didn’t do anything wrong
Matthew’s 6 - debut good lad

Officials 3 - could have done with VaR

Can also maybe play one of bangura or engel in front of one another although I do think Jones and Bangura suit a back 3 with these two as wing backs.

As both have decent delivery in the final third!

Howson was excellent. Has that ability to make the right decision in every situation and looks like he has the engine of a 26 year old not 36

Wierd one I thought howson was poor, our worst midfielder tonight,including silvera.
