If Boro are playing with a back 5 then Ayling's role is to make sure he covers the outside. A player cutting inside should be heading for the right centre back.

Fair point, he just seems a bit off the pace for me. Maybe it is the lack of gametime early in the season but he doesn't seem the same player he was.

That about sums up the first 45. Certainly an improvement on the first 30 minutes midweek

Way more competent than the start in midweek. Keep it like this for another 15-20 minutes then see if we can win it with Jones and Azaz.

I don't mind that at the moment. Especially away from home. Hard to beat first.
