The vile town of Middlesbrough

It looks like a chatgpt generated video, a poorly done one at that.
Amazing if it is.
I wonder if, like the early days of the internet and how people spammed search terms onto their site to drive traffic towards them, the council could have loads of sources of good news about 'Middlebough' that the AI bots would use uncritically as source material to generate their random articles and videos.

It's hilarious. We have very savvy drug dealers who want paying in dollars, not that rubbish £ Sterling. Since when were the FBI responsible for crime and protecting our streets? There are so many things wrong, laughably wrong, with this video and as Rob says, "Best ignored".:D

Stuff like this has been doing the rounds for years, doesnt even need AI. They just whack a load of text into summarising software like Sumly and then use a robovoice to read it out. They've done it with news articles, how-to's etc. does my head in when i am looking for something and have to wade through all these.

Funny as it is, I'd advise not watching it as it achieves their goal - ad revenue. One goes viral in an area, money in pocket.

Couldn’t watch longer than 2 minutes, not because it was offensive or angered me, it’s just a poorly made video with a slightly annoying voice over.

I guess it’s one of those videos that’s purposely made to anger people into views and comments.

It seems like a video designed to get real people to respond - crime, drugs and under employment are all higher than the National average, but if alcohol are included (as a drug) its probably been true since 1919 for all those three categories. Its an industrial working class town and now a legacy of that. Many of the images on the video were actually from the USA.
