The weekend šŸŗ and šŸŽ¶ thread

Something of a regular on the Weekend Booze and music thread... and quite right too.
Oh, I wasn't aware, but not in the slightest surprised.

So in view of the early retirement thread, here's Chris Wood, who played the Town hall last year and is a regular at Stockton's Arc, he's a brilliant raconteur and worth every second of your time if you get chance to go see him.

This is the little heard, My Darling's downsized.

Several playilists appear so giving the first one a go, been on a Mull Historical Society trip so far today, so time for something new.

Ok, had two pints today had one in the Navi and my freebie at the ground, first beer Iā€™ve had since the Plymouth game - not a beer drinker - but really enjoyed them both. On my usual Sauvignon tonight, not much though Iā€™m driving in the morning.

Music-wise Iā€™ve got a real belter, never heard it before despite being a fan, it was on a Paddyā€™s day program and is by one beautiful, though troubled, lady. Iā€™m a student of Irish politics and history and this nails it for meā€¦ā€¦ā€¦

Just watched my own post again above, god how stunning was she at that time.
Since Iā€™m having a Sinead night now Iā€™ll share this, two young black lads were out on mopeds and the police chased them and it ended badly. She was horrified and this song came out.

I saw her do this live in Shepherds Bush a couple of years ago. It stunned the venue into a tangible silence. It was very good when she released it but the patina the years added made it even more spartanly beautiful.
