The weekend beer and music thread

Evening all, hope we're all looking forward to the Mackem game on Sunday. Will be an interesting game, we seem to have become more solid with mew full backs, but Rogers will be a miss. I'm firmly in the camp that thinks there's a real star in there, and frankly £8m upfront is not good business IMHO. Anyhow let's hope we can turn the Mackems over on Sunday and record a double over them for the season.

And here's a canny tune to kick us off....

Starting the weekend with a bottle of Exmoor Gold and this.

And guess who made that video. One of my favourite pieces of work.

Just watching again. So many brilliant bits. Fantastic band. Fantastic song.

Just remembered, when it was on Beavis and Butthead one of them said (do your own voice) "Hur Hur This is what TV looks like to dogs" :ROFLMAO:

Still on the Leffe Royale Cascade. I've got 6 litres to get through so it lasts a couple of weekends :ROFLMAO:

Music wise Rob Marshall, who hails from Stockton, performs under the name 'Humanist'. He and a band he's put together are supporting Depeche Mode in Europe this month. I'm off to see DM in Prague in a few weeks time and will pay close attention to the support act.

Not a concidence, here's Humanist featuring Dave Gahan on vocals.

Just fallen out with the Mrs. Shot 72 today, and went for beers at the local with one of my fellow golfers. Rang her from the car and invited her to join us. She declined. If you don’t understand golf, you don’t understand golf!
Anyway, slurped a very fast 4 Morettis and now home supping Poretti, and gonna watch the rugby.

Buckcherry in Wolverhampton tomorrow 🎸
