The weekend beer and music thread...

Afternoon folks, it's nice to knock off on a Friday and there just about still be a little light! The weekend is here and we all know what that means....

I'm going to avoid talking about the footy given that I seem to curse it, so fingers crossed normality is restored and it's back to 'typical Boro' ways this weekend.

I'm off out to Newbiggin-by-the-Sea with some friends tonight and there's a great little real ale bar called The Ink Spot. If you're ever up this neck of the woods its well worth checking out. I shall be heading there later and indulging in one of these, a lovely pint by all accounts.

I've got my youngest coming over with the future daughter in law and we are all having a Chinese from the Peking Garden. I've got a selection of IPA's to wash it down.
