Sigue Sigue Sputnik, most of, if not all boy bands for being contrived sheet and the Sex Pistols for pretending to be something they weren't, and lots of others who I wish would take their ' bad boy attitude' and do one. Horrible music which when you listen to the lyrics all it is, is sellng you a load of old b***ks.

Not having that. Never Mind is one of the great albums.

Not entirely sure they ever really qualified as a band but in their day Bros were certainly contenders for the 'Lost In Showbiz' title, which already has several strong contenders mentioned on this thread. I seem to recall one of the twins (or was it Ken? ) saying in an interview that "Man, we love the road, it's in our blood."

The La's. There she goes is my most hated song of all time. Was given a promo copy when it was released, listened to it twice and gave it away.
It just beats The Proclaimers - I'm gonna be, followed by The Human League - Don't you want me (I do love them, but this track is massively overplayed and they've done far better).
