This week, I 'ave been mostly listening to

yeah, they are the outlier in my mogwai, f*ck buttons, mbv, this will destroy you, 65daysofstatic, how to destroy angels, cabaret voltaire joyful arc of noise.
One of the things the discovery of grace and the art of mindfulness gave me was acceptance of all musical genres. Sunn O))), at the right volume, are transcendental.

Still working on the Beatles but it "says nothing to me about my life" 'cept maybe while my guitar gently weeps, nowhere man, and here comes the sun.
I like your style! And yes, Sunn O)))'s 'Black One' is almost like walking through an enjoyable nightmare at optimum volume 🖤

I will try to get in the habit of this. It seems interesting in a particular fashion and may well scare me a little.
The best and equally infuriating thing about music is there isn't enough time to hear it all, let alone appreciate it. Just reading some of them brings back long forgotten joy. thank you

Keeping a list was something I never ever did until Scuba started the "weekly " thread. Quite interesting, makes me go off in different directions to a certain extent and has got me listening to whole albums way more than I was in recent times.

I've had a dose of man flu and certainly haven't been thinking straight this week and not listened to anything. 😓

Managed to get out into the garage today and was sanding the coffee table I've knocked up. It's got to be the most boring job and need tunes to sing along to in my headphones.

Today I've listened to Led Zepplin, Lynyrd Synyrd (One More From the Road) and Springsteen's The River album.

There are loads of bands in this thread I’ve not heard of!!

I’ve had on variously:
The new Steven Wilson album
The newly remastered Drive By Truckers album ‘The Dirty South’
The new Paul Rodger’s album
Springsteen
Dylan
Floyd
and some Northern Soul to get me in the mood for the night of Northern Soul at the Forum last night.

Now I’m waiting for the jukebox service man to arrive this morning🙄

What do you think of the new Steven Wilson album ? I've given it a few listens and it's not exactly blowing my hair back 🤷
