While he was with us he still got selected for and scored a few goals for England under 21s.
I'd say the issue was more how we played and used him rather than him himself.
 
I really think there's a cracking player in Balogun just not in the championship. He's a premier league player. You can see how good he looks at U21 level with good players around him.

I dont see how u21 football is a gauge for his ability. For arsenal u21 he absolutely ripped it up. The championship is completely different and he failed to impress.
