Brailsford lied and lied and is also on record as trying to get the journo to stop the story.

But the whole issue was caused by SKY (Brailsford) ordering a special package to be couriered to a rider.
Then doing their best to give different reasons why it wasn’t for Wiggins. When they were proved as lies he asked for the reporter to drop the story.

It wasn't couriered though, was it? A DS took it over as they were going anyway. That's what DCMS couldn't understand. It will happen in every team hundreds of times a year.

Anyway, regardless of the ins and outs of it all, it was years ago. I used to get irate about Lance and historic doping but nowadays I just try to enjoy the riding. Should be a cracking race on Sunday.

I will be watching on Sunday with hope. Hope that they are all clean. Hope that the authorities test rigorously to find cheats. Hope that the wool isn't been pulled over my eyes. At least with cycling they try and catch cheats - other sports do not. That is something I suppose.

I know what you mean about him...

I am hoping to go out there too next year - maybe try the Flanders sportive or something. I imagine it is epic out there for riding and boozing for Flanders & Roubaix!
