Thoughts on Watford’s rule bending?

Signed Hassan Kamara for £4million last season, this season they’ve sold him to Udinese for £16million, then loaned him straight back.

Watford & Udinese owned by the same family.

Dodgy?

Yay the pozzo family strike again
They’ve done this multiple times

I posted this a few years ago

No it’s not as all they’ll do is pass him
Through the pozzo family....

“The Pozzos pride themselves on being ruthless and clever. The family owns Udinese in Italy and also controlled Granada in Spain until four years ago. Giampaolo Pozzo, the patriarch, was once embroiled in a match-fixing scandal in Serie A. They do things differently to most owners. The turnover of players at Watford during their time in charge has been remarkable. The squad has been remade on almost an annual basis, although the failure to strengthen last summer was surprising. Players have been shunted between family-owned clubs. The Pozzos seemed to think they had found a way to beat the system. Their approach eschews stability.”

They’ll ditch the ffp eventually, just a matter of time .
Probably. I think it's a waste of time. If it was around in the 90s and 00s we'd have been screwed. If clubs go bust let them go bust and start again. Should get fan ownership on all the boards and give them power of veto so it's their fault if they overreach financially. Get rid of the football creditors must be paid in full nonsense, make it non football creditors must be paid in full and screw the football creditors.

Why is it the prem are so against it? And why is blame laid at the door of American owners? Their sports are the very definition of egalitarian. It's the American dream. Any club could win the Superbowl just like anyone can work their way from rags to riches.
Here we have the landed gentry enshrined in power, untouchable.

Points deduction
Points deduction, hah! We were deducted points for being unable to field a team due to widespread illness. It’s an outright disgrace for ANY league that this team ownership loophole hasn’t by now been closed and cheaters like Watford/Udinese are allowed to exploit it.

I think this is fairly common practice, regardless of the rights and wrongs.

Watford haven't just invented a new form of sneakiness.
