Clairville Stadium never had an atmosphere that good.Flying to Romania and back in the same day to watch a match in the equivalent of clairville stadium still feels daft.

It's important to factor in the sheer number of games played at the time with big league and fa cup runs on top of the European schedule (like an extra half season of league games).. People aren't made of money plus all the European games were live on free TV.Also poor attendance in the UEFA cup games. Crazy when you think about it now. Joni Mitchell was right, you don't know what you've got till it's gone
Wanting Carrick out at the start of this season.
Hard to prove one way or another isn’t it?You really believe that an idiot throwing his season ticket meant we suddenly improved as a team ?

Ok mate. Have a nice weekend. Not really.
How do you suggest a fan throwing his season ticket had an impact on the ability of professional footballers to win games.
I dropped a cup of tea on my lap at that game, and ate a wagon wheel for the first and last time, it could be argued that either of those events had a role to play in our improvement.
