Titanic Submersible Tour - Missing

Sad for the families, and i mean that , but completely over the top news coverage compared to other catastrophies that are happening around the world with far higher casualties

Must be because rich people were involved , and this is where we are as a society, hundreds drown in greece off a boat but it gets about 5% of the news coverage because they were immigrants and by the looks of it about 2% of the costs trying to locate them
Yes, a tragedy for those involved but a bit of the Madeline McCann syndrome going on here. Let the families grieve without having to see it splashed all over the media now.

The more I read about Stockton Rush the more I wish he'd died sooner. At least then he wouldn't have killed 4 relatively innocent people.
comes across as having had serious Dunning-Kruger, was clearly a very smart guy, but the smartest people always want to learn not preach Thought he knew better than the rest of the submariner community combined, and that there is nothing that set of regulation assessors could teach him.

At the current Titanic Exhibition at the Dorman Museum it shows what is involved in exploring the sea bed where the Titanic went down. Its basically 2.5 miles down and the pressure on the vessel are enormous. It showed how a polysterene cup on the outside of the vessel shrunk by 90% when it dropped to the sea bed.
