Awesome that!If you haven't seen this video, this is a group of Muslim students watching Harry Kane score for England.
This is the England I believe in.
Eid Mubarak.
I did read many years ago that halal slaughter is much more humane than conventional slaughtering. No idea if it's true or not.Just think of all those poor animals being barbarically sacrificed. Yeah hope they all have a great time!
Get your point and agree its valid as some are Christians, I reckon its a majority of atheists and agnostics celebrating a modern Christmas myself.I did read many years ago that halal slaughter is much more humane than conventional slaughtering. No idea if it's true or not.
You could equally aim the same criticism at Christians at Christmas time.
Nah, non-stun slaughter is a vile, disgusting and inhumane practice, in the name of religion. There is no place for it in modern society.I did read many years ago that halal slaughter is much more humane than conventional slaughtering. No idea if it's true or not.

I agree non stun slaughter is vile, the trouble is we assume our slaughter houses are humane. The story about racehorses this week shows they are badly run in some areas at least. Just because there are rules does not mean they are followed sadly. Our system is not always ‘humane‘ either.Nah, non-stun slaughter is a vile, disgusting and inhumane practice, in the name of religion. There is no place for it in modern society.
There is no justification for the level of pain and suffering it causes.
No Col, you’re entirely correct they’re not. The whole slaughter industry in the UK is horrendously bad, and really poorly regulated.I agree non stun slaughter is vile, the trouble is we assume our slaughter houses are humane. I am a lover of the sport and have defended it strongly on here, but given events in Ireland and the UK of late, I am saddened and questioning myself. I hoped the Gordon Elliott and Rob James issues were one offs, sadly it is looking much worse than i thought nowNo Col, you’re entirely correct they’re not. That still does not justify non-stun slaughter.
The panorama that was on last night regarding the horse racing and horse meat industry should have been headline news today, but it’s barely been mentioned.
Is that kosher?Just think of all those poor animals being barbarically sacrificed. Yeah hope they all have a great time!
Firstly there is no justification for the way animals are transported to or slaughtered in the uk period.Nah, non-stun slaughter is a vile, disgusting and inhumane practice, in the name of religion. There is no place for it in modern society.

This. It is also veiled Islamophobia but I think the poster knows how to dance on the fence.Didn’t take long for someone to start being a bell end in a well meaning thread, did it?
Poor form thatJust think of all those poor animals being barbarically sacrificed. Yeah hope they all have a great time!
