Top Six after Transfer Window,Yes or No

Concerned, back still vulnerable if injuries happen.
Players coming in not up to speed.
Forward line still struggling to hit cows ass with banjo.

Possibly, but will definitely be interesting.

It's still very much a maybe from me. Two of the new signings could take a month to get fully up to speed (or longer).

We have two awful games in Norwich and Brentford. It was a good point on sat but I feel Brentford is harder. The two home defeats against cr*p sides is a real blow.

The forward area is still an issue. I am hoping Fletcher gives us a shot in the arm or the new boys create more chances (probably just more to miss)

Keeping Fry and McNair fit is vital.

That said we are almost unrecognisable from the dross side we had last year. We could be 6-9 points off the playoffs in March and still sneek in. That's the championship 👍

I'm very much like the gaffer as in we just have to stay in contention hovering around the top 6.

Our problem for years has been creating chances for the strikers due to lack of wingers. We now have 4! If only two of these hit form in the next 19 games then we can easily reach the playoffs.

Ive a feeling we just wont quite make it, mostly down to how many chances we make and how many we score - whilst I think we will make a lot more chances I still dont see us scoring enough goals, largely down to out strikers.

That and our general inconsistency

Hope im wrong

Hopefully goals in NML / Bolasie / Kebano to have not to rely on Britt and Fletcher .
Add Watmore and we have 2 decent forward units , who can rotate .
play offs for me , and a win in the final v Swansea

It is possible. Big game tomorrow. Bournemouth Sheff Wed. Sheff Wed have become a tough team and Bournemouth are in a rut. Then Boro vs Brentford and stoke vs Reading at the weekend. It could all tighten up quickly. Or it could become difficult quickly. With our favourable last 6 matches we just need to keep in touching distance, be less than 7 points behind a couple of play off teams, then we can do it.

I would expect we might take 3 or 4 weeks of falling behind a bit before we surge forward. We have a number of players need to get fit and up to speed with the squad. Fletcher, Bolasie and NML could be as good a front 3 as any in this division, but are not enough to be right now.

I think we will just miss out finishing 7th-10th (previously I thought 8th-12th). It is certainly doable, but the lack of a mobile commanding CB if Fry or Paddy get knocks is worrying. Up front, to compliment the players who are now brought in, we needed a big unit who can hold up play and feed to the likes of Bolasie, Mendez-Laing and Kebano (love his first name btw). Britt couldn’t hold his hands up let alone a football. Akpomb is marginally better but only just. Fletcher is more mobile, a better finisher and can head a ball but he gets tangled in his own legs with the ball at his feet. Jutkiewicz would have improved us lots, and I think he is an average at best striker, that tells me how poor we actually are in that area.

I think 6th is a possibility.. then we face 3rd who have already lost the league effectively. Then the winner of 4th & 5th who will know that we are mathematically stronger and growing info form rather than scraping the barrel or sputtering over the line.

Mendez-Laing, Fletcher & Bolasie will just get better and better. Tavernier coming back into what we have now will be a great boost.

Like your thinking Newy

I'm still hopeful but I fear that the three games v Brum, Blackburn and Rotherham (that we were expecting to win) wil cost us dearly

nah, I use my own big boy stats and have us finishing 6th
without getting into the thick of it.. have a look at the goal difference +8 says it all right there

Fisher vs Wood - more or less goals/forward play/opportunities
Laing vs Roberts - more or less goals/forward play/opportunities
Bolasie vs Browne - more or less goals/forward play/opportunities
Fletcher vs Walker - more or less goals/forward play/opportunities
Kebano vs Wing - more or less goals/forward play/opportunities

how often do they lose the ball? changing five inconsistent champo players (I though Browne was great btw and Wood did a sterling job)
changing five inconstant champo players four attaching players for four prem quality players. granted all of them are not fully up to speed yet.

More like 10 to 14.. I think I calculated something like 11 at the start of the season based on a positive window like we've just had.

Pretty much how I see it, though I think you flatter both Fletcher and Juke:)
