In or Out?
Brexit wasn’t a black and white question. Was is a wishy washy position or was it an issue that required a more nuanced response?

As an MP he was against membership of the EU his whole career. Understanding the EU? Understanding Brexit? That’s not what people voted for.He didn't understand the EU, didn't understand Brexit and wasn't interested in it, not in 2016 and not in 2019.
It wasn’t down to him. He wasn’t supported by the PLP (remain) his support came from the members and momentum (remain)Even in mid 2019 he still hadn't made up his mind whether it was a good idea to be in the Single Market or not. FFS!
Not wishing for anything. Most of todays politicians aren’t suitable I think he was the best of a bad bunch. The public would have had it not been for the non stop smear campaign from the press.the fact remains is he wasn't suitable for the job. You can wish all you want, he just wasn't.
No, this didn’t happen. Labour wasn’t pro remain in 2017Remain voters lent their vote as the only way of opposing Theresa May's stupid red lines on Brexit.
The Forde Report would suggest otherwise. He and Brexit are responsible for Johnson and everything resulting from that, other than the pandemic.
Not being this Conservative government.. haven’t seen it yet tbhHe's surely a better option than this current actual Conservative Party and you might get electoral reform out of it.
Yep, you're one of them REMEMBERYou have friends?
How does that workWill you vote tactically if they ask you to?
It may come as a shock to you but these people have to work together even the most rabid right winger will be polite and indeed chatty with members from across the chamber and vice versa. It's not all the combative screaming across the chamber that makes the telly. Not being this Conservative government.. haven’t seen it yet tbh

Their latest work increasing the vote for Lib Dems and the Greens is nothing short of miraculous. Heaven only knows how they are allowed to get away with it.
its pretty simple how they get away with it. Lunatic left wingers who want to stick to their socialist principles and refuse to vote for a party that can defeat the Tories vote Green or abstain. Therefore the Tory wins again and we are stuck with another 5 years of Tory government. But you don't need to worry. You and all the rest of the idiots stuck with your principles. The country is fcuked but you can look at yourself in the mirror each day.

Think you've misread Newys post. Pretty sure the "they" he was on about were Labour's internal saboteurs.
Dunno why folk on here get so riled about left wing people being less likely to vote Labour as the party moves to the right. Perfectly natural consequence isn't it?
The Lib Dems didn't stick with it.. they just propped up the Tories. The way Labour are going I don't think they will either. Should have been top of the shop for Starmers campaign imo.It may come as a shock to you but these people have to work together even the most rabid right winger will be polite and indeed chatty with members from across the chamber and vice versa. My biggest hope for this is that Labour see the advantage in an electoral pact to get the Tories out and remove their domination for ever by a move to Proportional Representation.
'Lunatic left wingers' - I voted Labour so it wasn't me that put the tories in.So you won't complain when the Tories get another 5 years then?

antisemitism! antisemitism! antisemitism! What does the Forde Report into the antisemitism leaks?
Tell me, what doe it say on
Because you're more concerned with power IN Labour than power FOR Labour?
'Perfect is the enemy of good' ?
antisemitism! antisemitism! antisemitism!
is this the same brand of "antisemitism" that Bernie Sanders pumps out? The same "antisemitism" that Noam Chomsky practises in his support for Jeremy Corbyn?
the same ""antisemitism" that leads Keir Starmer to expel left leaning Jewish members from the party? - I'm not falling for it.
The Leadership - every paper, every news channel pumping out misinformation. right wing Labour MPs jumping on the bandwagon resigning.
Their stance on Brexit - Jeremy Corbyn's stance was solid, until the PLP kicked and screamed into a position of a 2nd referendum and fence sitting.
Their economic policies - fully costed and sound. FREE INTERNET, MAGIC MONEY TREE, FREE EVERYTHING - and now the public are being scammed out of billions!
Hey Stu
Just for you, I'm posting a thread about the shenanigans of the Labour Right under Corbyn 2015-17.
Plenty to condemn and I'd hope those to the Right of you and Scrote and Newy would inform themselves of this if it passed them by. Feel free to start a thread on it. I'll happily contribute.
