Trains for Wembley

Just checked times from Doncaster 11.47 gets into Kings Cross 13.31. Coming back 22.00 from Kings Cross back into Donny 23.49. £60.93 return. Seriously considering driving up to Boro, getting on one of the official coaches with the lads I sit with and travel to Wembley that way. If it’s a 16.45 ko,I reckon coach may be well on way back before return train and I might get back to Donny not much later than return train

I booked it through train line and have taken the insurance, out if we don't make it too Wembley I will be probably be sick as a parrott so I think that's covered in the terms.

Annoying ko time. Does anyone know which is the best route after the game back to kings cross, is it metropolitan tube line or is overland quicker and roughly how long is the journey. 21:00 hrs seems last train back to York ffs

Metropolitan only 20 minutes, but big queues.

It's a bit too tight for comfort, probably going to stay the night, if we get there.

I know thats what I'm thinking but have to come back Saturday…. if theres extra time too 🤦🏻 there is an overground by the stadium but not sure where that goes to.
I’m thinking my idea of driving up to Boro and getting the coach down to Wembley sounds a better option all the time, at least there’s no worry of missing the last train and there’s every chance that there’s not too much difference in the time I get back to Donny

Why not drive the other way, down to say Peterborough and jump on a more local train that runs later coming back?
