I think Gibson`s policy is veering more towards "terrible young kid(s)" who have a future at Boro and a possible sell-on value.
Unlike previously, where we have paid well-over-the-top for players and made a loss on them when moved on or their contracts finished.
Irregardless of circumstances and background story - bringing on players of the likes of Tav and Spence, makes it an ideal [not certain] path to pursue.
Until we hit the big league and consolidate our place there - we cant afford to throw good money after bad.
