I think that this is the stage of the thread where I have to bang Randy and BoroFur's heads together and remind them to be nice to one another or they'll have the bumfaced folk to contend with and nobody wants that. We don't take any prisoners.

I haven't an issue with those who support vaccine passports, that's their choice, they can live with that choice.
What I do have issue with is the constant intrusion by incompetent government officials who are only interested in feathering their own nests whilst F***ing over the people who put them in the positions they currently hold.

And I don't disagree with most of that mate. And you already know that. You and BoroFur both seem pretty angry right now though. And I like you both and don't enjoy seeing the two of you fighting like this.
 
The government are still chipping away, putting small measures in place and the majority of people accepting it.

Even though Javid said there are no plans to force people to take the jab, its unethical, I don't believe a word.

Yeah. That was the bit that I disagreed with. There's sod all communist about modern China anyway apart from the name of the dictatorship. Most successful capitalist economy in the world. That's why America hates them so much.
 
To those who bizarrely support vaccine passports, how do you justify your mental gymnastics if the vaccines don't stop transmission?

Why would a vaccine passport help in any way shape or form?

I don't think anyone disagrees that the government are **** poor randy, I don't even think that anyone thinks they wouldn't impose further restrictions if they can get away with it, or keep current restrictions when they are no longer necessary. That shouldn't stop mandates to do whats right now, egadless of the reason behind those mandates.

As I have said I think covid passports are an awful idea, as they will be ineffective as reducing infections Proof of a negative test is safer than passports and inclusive.

Yep got no issue with providing a negative test for large events, for me they are more bulletproof than a passport anyways.

I think that Johnson himself has 'known' most of them including most of the secretaries the dirty old goat. I still have contacts from my journalism days and it seems like they're all 'knowing' one another during office hours. All of that subsidized booze and the coke in the toilets means that they're at it like rabbits. I'm not going to tell the Boris/ Kuenssberg story though even though I know that it's true. She'd probably try to sue me and I can do without that right now.
 
According to many MP's tonight these aren't Vaccine Passports due to the fact you can use a negative test or test / vaccine exemption instead of your vaccine status.

Make of that what you will.
