Don’t forget it was her the party members wanted. Now she’s playing the “I was thwarted by the establishment card” Which will appeal to the swivel heads…which means the majority of them out in the country.

Pretty much tells you all about the UK media and where their interests lie / type of people pulling the strings / client media.

Give it a few years, the spin will be that she was the most influential PM since Churchill and it was a disgrace her bold policies weren't given longer......😳😳

But this was LBC interviewing her and they are as balanced as you can get in mainstream media.
 
As John Crace says, we need more Liz Truss interviews. From his column today:

Hilariously, Liz even believes she’s in with a chance of becoming prime minister again. I’ve got more chance of becoming leader of the Tory party than she has. How do you get to be this dysfunctional? Liz is a mystery even to herself. But one of Labour’s greatest electoral assets.

Keep it up Liz. Everytime she speaks she takes a couple of points off the Tory vote.

I’m amazed she hasn’t defected to Reform. I mean her political views are perfectly aligned with Tice. She may be an agent for them ruining the Tories’ chances (not that she’s needed of course)

She is pro immigration. It’s why she fell out with Braverman.

Also she’s toxic AF and hated by the public.

They are all pro immigration as a full labour force suppresses wages which is why they do nothing about it but immigrants are the convenient scapegoat when our politions skim our money off to their mates as they can blame them for lack of school places, hospital waiting times, housing shortage, law and order etc instead of our government doing the job they are paid for. Prime example is Suella Braverman loved a good photo op did she actually do anything whilst Home Secretary and now snipes at how bad things are when she ran the department for 2 years less six days when sacked.
 
Truss is the pinnacle of a particularly vicious trend in Conservatism where grifters expect everything on a plate for them, while demanding everyone else 'works hard' to make the country better.

They aren't willing to use any intellect, or win the argument, or do the hard work to make the changes they want to see - even when as a PM (Johnson and Truss) - they just want to bray the loudest. It worked for them with Brexit, and its going to get a lot worse before we are finally rid of them. This will be the undoing of Reform too.

They are increasingly deranged, pushing proverbial imaginary tanks and battalions around a map: "many people agree with me", "what i hear on the doorstep is..."
