Sportstime( I think it was called).
Tynetees 10.30 pm on a Friday in the late 70's.
Loads of footy stuff on NE clubs.
Great start to the weekend, part of the pre-match build up.
Didn’t they try bringing Fantasy Football back for the euro’s or World Cup once and it was rubbish.
I still liked it.
Not sure they'd have much material these days, with everything already being on Twitter and what not.
All of the clips on Soccer AM, I've already seen during the week.
Kick start with peter purvis was great tv . There was also a brilliant commodore 64 kickstart game derived from the seriesKick Start
The Word
Eurotrash
If you look at US TV then I think you can see why it's not always a good idea. I'm thinking of Magnum, Hawaii 5-0 and others that they've redone. Best to leave the classics alone.
I would second asred regarding Utopia though as it is not only recent, but the door was left wide open for more.
I'd say the same for a continuation of Hannibal.
Another thing to consider is that we tend to limit the number of episodes which arguably adds to the lasting impression that some shows leave.
'Help'for me, it has to be The Bill, I still watch the old episodes on a Sat morning on W......they could easily resurrect this one and start some new series.......as our song went on our European Tours, Geordies at home, watching The Bill......
