Always a great day of music, if you get your skates on you can catch about 10 of the 40 acts.
Which works out at about £2 a go 👍

The answer is probably yes, but can you just show the ticket PDF on your phone rather than printing it off?

Looking forward to it, have planned my route from around 5pm onwards, with Memes, Mt Misery, Cherym, Blanketmen, Lauran Hibberd.

A great night, I was blown away by just how good Cherym were at the Westgarth. Amazing noise by the three lasses from Derry.

Lauran Hibberd was great as well, have been a fan of her for a few years now so was nice to finally see her live in Boro.

A smashing day, it’s great to see this festival flying the flag for so many female fronted bands.

We had a decent run at it...

HYTTS, Twist Helix, We Tibetans, Jake Whiskin, Jodie Nicholson.
Tea time...Uno Momento!
CheryM, Tom Joshua, Retro Video Club

Then the good lady was all out so we headed home - she really wanted to see Howl & the Hum but on this occasion it wasn't to be - glad it was a good gig tho!

Thoroughly enjoyed the day - thanks as always to the team!

What a terrific day.. So many top bands. Great to see so many people filling the venues. Middlesbrough Art Weekender last weekend, Twisterella this weekend and Discover Middlesbrough starting next weekend there are a lot worse places to live just now.
But thanks so much Andy and Henry what a festival.

Great day and managed to last to the end. Plan worked until when dodgy ankle gave me problems so we stayed down Westgarth / Uni later on. Probably not the quite the best Twisterella(early on) if I am truly honest but that may have been down to my band choice. It was close though and it was amazing that given current conditions that we got anything like the quality of artists we did. I never saw one thing I didnt like all day......ok maybe Straight Girl. As said above we must thank Andy, Phil, and Henry for putting this together plus all the staff, door people, bar staff in all the venues. Everyone was superb, no issues getting in anywhere or getting served at the bars. Amazing that only one band dipped out Spyres but I think Cherym played again to replace them so nobody will have been disappointed with that. At Gathering Sounds there was about half a dozen drop outs so to only have one was brilliant.

It was good to meet Jam69 and watch Lefty moshing in The Westgarth and as there seems to be a few others on here in venue at the same time it would have been nice to meet others. I was the bloke in the Made In Middlesbrough T-shirt so if you saw me come say hello next time. Next gig for me Avalanche Party on Friday.

On to the music. I had the plan to finish off with half an hour of The Howl & The Hum then try to get in to see Fatherson but as they came on twenty minutes late I only caught two songs but those two songs I heard were the best of the day. Should have stayed for the full set as I wouldn't have had any issues getting in for Fatherson. It seemed a good plan at the time.

People reading the above will think I was disappointed with Fatherson. Not in the least They were fantastic as usual. They are such a good band and were very close to being band of the day.

We started with HYYTS and honestly whats not to love. A great live band and what a way to start our day. The actual start of the day was Leopard Rays at Westgarth 2. My son went to see these and came back raving about them. He said they were outstanding so will keep an eye out for them

Next it was Twist Helix who were heavier than I expected but I really enjoyed them and they seemed so happy to be playing. We stayed in TSOne for James Leonard Hewitson who started of a bit slow for me but got better as the set went on and last two songs were brilliant. Good to see a lot of people bouncing up and down at the front.

Went next to see Straight Girl at the Townhouse and although there was plenty bopping about not my cuppa I'm afraid. Went outside halfway through.

Quick break for a KFC then back to TSOne for MEMES who were excellent. One of the days highlights for me. Will be checking them out and would like to see them again soon.

Then on to Townhouse for Venus. These split our gang I liked them but was probably expecting more, others weren't fussed. The singer had a great voice but I'm sure they were a bit punkier last time I saw them. Would love to see then downstairs in Westgarth to really appreciate them. would deffo go back to see them.

Back to TSOne and probably one of the only disappointments of the day. Really wanted to see Bored At My Granma's House but didn't happen for me. The sound wasn't great people were talking and another I would have loved to see downstairs in Westgarth. We we left before end but will be keeping an eye out for her. Got lots of promise.

Down to Westgarth 2 for Cherym who went down a storm. Loved them and so did everyone else there. Stayed until Retro Video Club came on. Not a band I was definetly going to see but glad I did. Wow remember the first time you saw Fatherson or Washington Irving(where are they now) it was like that.....Wow. You will hear more of these and they loved the reception they got and were already taliking about coming back.

Caught a couple of numbers br Jordan Mackampa but never intended to as his sound is not my music of choice. And so it proved but I was later told by someone who watched the full set that he was their band of the day.

After that I have already mentioned above. So cracking day again and a big hug and thanks for the Blaggamuffin although these days he would slip through my arms.

I don’t believe Cherym stood in for them, we went to go see Spyres but noticed it was Lauran Hibberd setting up quite early. Was a bit gutted as meant standing around waiting till 9 for LH (who was class).

Cherym were in the venue though, wish they did stand in as loved them in the Westgarth.

My only negative about the day was that there was no real announcement that Spyres had dropped out on social media or even in the venue.

We only found out late. They'd emailed in the morning to let us know but it went into Junk folder and so wasn't picked up, so basically that's why we didn't get chance to post anything. That said, there was no phone call, WhatsApp, text or activity on social media from them, which we were a tad surprised about tbh. Cherym were keen to step in but we couldn't quite get it sorted in time, which was a shame.

Had a great day, managed to see 16 bands in all, making the fatal mistake of not having a break for something to eat, so was flagging by the end of the night 🥱.
Didn't see a bad one, with James Leonard Hewitson, Retro Video Club and Fatherson being the stand-outs for me.
Well done and thanks to TKASG for another brilliant day ! 👏

I didn’t see as many as I would have liked, but my highlights were old favourites Mt Misery and Tom Joshua, and - completely new to me - Fortitude Valley, who were downstairs in The Westgarth and were absolutely ace. Loved them.

So good to back amongst friends and like-minded people, and such a fantastic event for local and emerging bands, but also the people of Teesside in general. Big love to everyone who helps bring it - keep on keeping on. 👏🏻
