We're so close. Would absolutely love to have another season in Europe.
I'm giddy just thinking about it and looking at the groups this year. One team I've got my eye on is Slovan Bratislava, went to Slovakia last year and attended a home game which actually turned out to be a local derby. I'd love to go back and be in the away end.
Other teams in there this year which I'd love for us to play against is Fiorentina, Zagreb, Brugge

The problem with this is that IF and it's a massive IF we somehow get past Chelsea, awaiting us in the final will probably be Liverpool. Now, it is not impossible and stranger things have happened but I wouldn't be getting too excited about any European adventures yet.

Germany: Dusseldorf or Frankfurt or Gelsenkirchen or Leipzig or Stuttgart
Romania: Bucharest - National Arena

Not blocked but made it harder. They reduced the chance of lower league teams from qualifying for Europe. At one point if you were beaten in the FA Cup Final, and the winners had already qualified for Europe through the league, the runners up got into the UEFA Cup. But now they've given that spot to 7th place in the Premier League.
I think Millwall may have been the last 2nd tier team to qualify for Europe. They lost the final to Man Utd in 2003.
For lower league teams to qualify now you have to win either of the domestic cups.
