Anyone else get the feeling that this lad is going to really ‘click’ here? I’m a fan of his attributes and if he can improve under Warnocks guidance I think he may be a success here and a bit of a fan favourite. Hope he bags another tomorrow against the mighty Saltash

Yeah he does a lot of his best work outside the box, that needs to change if he wants to become a great goal scorer rather than just a scorer of really good goals. The lad can play and man handle defenders with sheer power and strength there is no doubt about that. I wish him well and really hope it works out for him

I’m hoping for between 10-12 goals and few assists and heavy involvement in other goals and just being a general menace for defenders really. I think he could be really important in games against the ‘lower’ championship sides when we are struggling to break them down he seems to have that ability to create something out of nothing for himself, always good to have that in the locker
 
I’ve can’t recall ever having seen him play. Never heard of him until he was rumoured to be signing for us. But from what I’ve heard he’s unlikely to be prolific.

But as stated above, and from what I’ve heard, if he grabs 10+ goals and causes mayhem and allows the rest of the the team to play off him allowing them to get more goals then he could be a great signing.

If he helps the likes of Tav and Payero to get 10 goals each, Watmore to get 15 etc. I’d imagine we sign another winger, if he also gets 10-15 etc then we will be right up there at the end of the season I’d imagine.
 
Depends if he is first choice or not, but guess it’s up to him to make the position his own. I get the feeling he’s going to fit in really well though and with the right service I wouldn’t be surprised to see him net around the 15 goals mark next season, which will be a vast improvement on anything we have had for a good few years.

Hope so, about time we got a striker who done the business
 
I like his attitude he has worked his way up from the bottom to where he is now and wants to push forward taking the opportunity at boro. I hope he will be a menace and hold the ball up to lay off to the runners in Watmore Ameobi, Payero and Tav.
 
I think 10+ goals is a decent return for 750k. I think it's probably going to be more what he brings in terms of leading the line and physicality.

We were crying out for a big lad up top last season. He has the attributes to bully CBs. I think he's 'raw' and will probably frustrate sometimes yet also be unplayable.

I do love a big lad up top. He's one of them that you look at when they runout and say 'f*ck me look at the size of that lad' 😂. It's a while since we've had one.
 
I’m with you on this one Block, as long as he gives his all I’m sure NW and his coaches can improve him as a player, he seems eager to impress and happy to be here, it won’t take much to impress me compared to the £15 million flop

Let's be honest if he wins a few headers and runs around a lot he's an improvement on recent forwards.

The majority costing millions more in wages and fees👍. The one thing about being skint is that you have more chance of finding a bargain.

Looking at Twitter etc Wycombe fans seem to rate him, which is usually a really good sign. Particularly for a low scoring striker.

He's going to be right handful I'm sure, exactly the type of striker we were crying out for last season. We clearly still need more forwards and wingers but even now the prospect of Tav and Watmore buzzing around him while he bullies centre backs seems promising.

(Of course for some if doesn't score at least 20 he'll be ***** no matter how well he plays).
 
For a big man, hes got a turn of speed and the advantage of just holding off players - with his physique.
From what we know and what we`ve seen so far, he seems a decent buy and Neil will get the best out of him.(y)
 
I imagine coming from hearts and Wycombe it's a big move. He sounds like he wants to do well and also taking about playing for Nigeria (not great news😂).

I think a player needs disire. I genuinely think we've had far to many on big money and happy to pick up a paycheck. I think it's going to be an interesting season. I think all clubs will be scratching around the bargain basement due to covid finances.

We have actually been pretty active if you look at other clubs. Also still loads of free agents without clubs. I presume many need to be more realistic in terms or terms etc.
