Ugo Ehiogu

Nobody pretends he was Bobby Moore, but the boy stood higher than almost any other in out history and when we needed him he was a mountain.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded.
Give over man, he was a whole hearted lad who would run through brick walls, but he wasn't a top class player at all. He was a good stopper.

England international, played at the top level, won trophies and played in numerous finals with the club. Not many Middlesbrough centre halves can claim as much including Pallister, Maddren and Mowbray. I'd say he was top class but i suppose that depends on your definition and context.

RIP Ugo, i coukdnt believe when Robbo signed him & we later ended up with Souhgate & Ugo, top drawer CB's

And who can forget Ugo's last ditch block in the league cup final to preserve our slender lead
With his arm 😬

A brilliant player and legend of our Club. What a CB pairing Ugo and Gareth were.
