We can either say "That man saying that he wished illness and/or death on someone's family and then going on to assert that he would take a knife to them, is a vicious and grossly unkind thing to do, and I think on balance this website proprietor was correct in taking the action of banning him."

Or we can save time and say "Good riddance, he was a nob."

Why would you condone what was said? It was indefensible.

I agree that this thread doesn't help much. Especially if it was a blip caused by mental health issues or alcohol. Short-term ban with benefit of the doubt given (unless there have already been warnings?).

WeeGord, hope you're OK, and although I think we've probably had our disagreements in the past, over Brexit/politics (haven't we all on here), one thing I would say is that on this board it very rarely turns to personal insults, let alone horrifically vile things like this. Plus, you never know when you will need mortgage advice ;)

I remember once there was a big disagreement with sasboro about whether the Leeds game should go ahead during the beast from the east. Looking back it was childish and pathetic from all involved, and although it never became anything personal, sasboro ended up leaving the board. It was quite bizarre.

Sometimes we all need to remember why we are on this board, and that is supporting the Boro.

Exactly. They are obsessed with FMTTM because most of them were banned from here for extreme views or blatant racism

Was hilarious when they couldn't understand why they didn't have a representative invited to the Supporters Forum when all the other boards did. They don't get they are an embarrassment to the area and the club, but it is pretty funny to watch most threads on there descend into threats of violence

I was just about to agree with you.

However, a quick check in over there shows that, in fact, a certain character called called 'Lappebbabiana' is the real embarrassment to the area. Wouldn't want to be him!

Not my words mate, just repeating what some of the more extremists on here have claimed when people have taken offence at their extremism. Personally, I think that 95% of the people on here or from soft right to soft left. The few exceptions seem to be the odd far righter, Tory propagandist, who usually gets banned within a few months or blocked and ignored by most.
 
Yay, I've been quoted on the CoB thread (albeit badly). Does that make me famous, can I now be one of those faggot faced c***s they keep talking about. Is there a membership fee or a badge?
