No it's a really enjoyable movie. Definitely not a comedy. Was able to watch it on Netflix in the US not sure about the availability in the uk.

he should have had an Oscar for that movie, brilliant performance and excellent movie, it’s in my top 10 of all time.

I thought it was great. He really surprised me in a serious role, because I thought I wouldn’t be able to see past Happy Gilmour, but he was superb in it.

Probably getting on for 2 decades, the sheer volume of movies he’s done should be a warning sign enough, some abysmal attempts at comedy over the years.

I've never seen an Adam Sandler film and never wanted too. However I tried this one and it is brilliant. You just need to get through the first 10 mins of the annoying music and chaos and you get hooked.
