I'm having difficulty taking this seriously, it's all faintly ludicrous. I get the feeling it's about to tip over into mass hysteria that the Americans do so well.

Slightly surprised that they used a Sidewinder missile to down it rather than canons (I believe the F22 has canons?)

Apparently its base don the experience of the canadian airforce. They had a rogue weather balloon that they had to bring down once. the failed to do it with cannons. The US didn't want to eb seen to do the same

Just looking at the replies to this and who they're from tells me it's just another conspiracy theory thrown against the wall hoping it will stick. See 'blue beam' as another example.

It would be great if they could all stick to the same theory.
