I actually tried that for a mate, didn't work. I was 160 so ok, although I'm going on my todd now.

For 180 point plus Boro fans - League Cup quarter final tickets go on sale @ 3pm today.

Port Vale haven't sold out the home tickets yet. I am a bit surprised I thought they would have.

Tipped my colleague’s tickets out the basket a few times but when he went back in at 14:58 it worked

I hope a lot of low priority point Boro fans heeded the previous advice on here and bought tickets last week when Port Vale had them on general sale.

I was a bit surprised how quickly they went, but after the last rounds of big sales, if was obvious we would sell out 3,100 tickets for a quarter final in the North Midlands and not on UK TV.

Pleased I bought tickets in the Port Vale end as meeting up with a friend from Stoke. I had the points for tickets in the boro away end but under this system you can't bring a ticket for an extra that is annoying when you use away games to meet up with different friends around the country.
