She's just one of many talentless ppl in the media who get eye-watering sums. Must have an incredible agent or have some very incriminating info. Even when they get these sums it's not enough for them money ends up offshore or in tax avoidance scams

She also does BBC Radio London from 7-10am every morning, so she's effectivley doing two jobs. I like her, she speaks a lot of sense mainly.

I love the way a random messageboard poster declares people who've made a very good living out of doing something that most people wouldn't be able to do and for many years, as "talentless" - perhaps we could come and see how amazing you are at your job?

Annoying the nation is not a difficult job.
 
The one that puzzles me is the £1million pay RISE for Zoe Ball for losing roughly the same number of listeners.

Now I guess that it is possible that she is still being paid a lot less than the previous occupant of the R2 breakfast slot (was it the ginger tawt? I don't listen and lost track some time ago) and this is levelling up the gender pay thingie? Perhaps it's fair dos?

For me the best broadcaster on the BBC by some stretch is Lauren Laverne, no idea how much she is paid (nor do I care really) but she is so much better and more versatile than Ball it's almost embarrassing.

Ms Laverne is approx £1m behind Johnny Ball’s daughter ! The BBC are an absolute shambles

It seems the priorities are out of whack if Emily Maitlis is earning significantly less for doing a job that is more likely going to have an impact on the national conversation than morning breakfast show presenters.
 
Feltz is a dreadful broadcaster cant stand her patronising London tone. Zoe ball is also terrible she that friends on friday is just sycophantic cringe. Coxy is good but by far the best is still ken bruce
 
I'm astonished to find that, based on the posts of a couple of posters whose opinions I respect, she is (now?) a good radio presenter, because her views in the past often made me want to boot the TV through.
 
Between Zoe Ball and Gary Linekers (who also moonlights on BT and crisps) wages...That and paying for the new eastenders set.

I have a right BBC rant day😕
 
I've never understood Gary Lineker being the highest earner at the BBC. He's really good at what he does. But who watches football to see the presenter? It's like when Des Lynam left MOTD, did anyone notice or give a sh*t. There are plenty of decent presenters who could do his job.
