Vaping in the stadium

It is banned in the Stadium. All Stewards should inform anybody seen vaping to cease immediately. In the North Stand I have seen Stewards inform Supporters to cease vaping.
Similarly, I saw at least 5 people yesterday drinking Alcohol in the Stand and the Steward again informed them to return to the Concourse.
 
One game earlier in the season there were 5 lads and they spent the whole game passing it between them for the whole game.
 
It's not just at the football its everywhere in society. I had a to do with some clown on the train a couple of weeks ago ***ed as a fart , puffing away in my face. I've seen people walking around tesco doing it, shopping centres, pubs, cafes, restaurants. A complete disregard for anyone else, and believe that they can get away with it. I've even seen people on work Teams/Zoom meetings puffing away, what is it the 70s? I even had hte sweet sicly whiff of vape at a Bannatynes recently, then I saw a lad walking from machine to machine with a water bottle and his vape pen. WTF.

Needs properly enforcing and fined if done in a public place. Go to the designated smoking areas.

There is no legislation to enforce mart. It's down to each place to make and enforce rules.

Whilst the smoke from a vape is much less harmful than cigarettes it does contain particulates and nicotine. Nicotine is fairly harmless unless ingested. Not sure about the particulates and their concentration.
 
There are people who openly vape near me, the stewards can see them doing it and nothing ever gets done. The rest of us sit in a haze of smoke. My experience with smokers is that many of them think they can do what they like and nobody can stop them. Sod the rest of us. I hate walking on the beach which is usually littered with cigarette ends for young children to pick up and put in their mouths.

Someone at work started vaping in the eating area where we sit and have lunch. I said do you mind? He walked out. I shouldn't have to ask. I don't want to smell sickly flavoured smoke blown into my face.

To be fair prob need something to go with their pint 🍺 in their seat.
 
What you have to remember is that a lot of vapers and smokers are among the most selfish, inconsiderate members of society. And they tend to lack will power.

I can’t believe people still throw lit cigarettes out of their car windows when they’re done with them. The selfishness of this act is absolutely abominable. My son saw someone do it recently and just couldn’t believe his eyes. I had to explain that there are just some very disgusting people about, I had nowt else to offer!
 
People who would vape next to someone who can’t move away are incredibly selfish but this is down to the club to sort out.

I would raise it formally with them and ask them to highlight it as an issue at matches and then enforce it.

It’s only 2 hours when you can be expected not to vape.
