I think we all missed something, but that's why we're not scouts.

I always thought Rogers was pretty good - but I wouldn't have said he was anything special.

Based on the real stats - He's one of the best players in the league for what he brings to the team.

You can sell whoever you want in the summer, what use is us getting £8m for argument sake after we give City their cut?

Let’s say we spend half of that, who we buying to bolster our attack? Everyone knows we’ve just banked £8m so good luck getting a replacement.

Wait until the summer and you can at least replace him. We are under no financial pressure to sell right now.

Short answer. Yes, you are missing something.
He's a quick, strong English player with great vision, creative, skillful, a good dribbler, who's young with lots of potential, who can play anywhere across the front line. No injury concerns, good attitude. That's why they're desperate to sign him.

Also we have virtually all our players back and he's still starting. If McGree was back he'd probably start instead of Greenwood but I think Rogers has probably been our best attacking player in the last couple of months, don't think he'd be dropped at all at the moment. Which is why we're not letting him go unless Villa pay top dollar.
 
I guess any money received will just be pocketed by Gibbo for the new nighttime entertainment complex he's building at his house.

I didn’t mention it your right, because it doesn’t really effect anything, Boro will factor it in to their asking price, they will know his market worth and I’m sure will get as close to it as they can
