I’ve been pretty certain Houchen would get back in, those who I talk to who like him seem to really like him and are definitely going to vote. Two separate people with no affiliation to Houchen or the Conservatives have actively tried to get me to vote for him.
Others are just apathetic and won’t vote. That’s just people I’ve come across.

The fact that 73% of people in Middlesbrough didn't bother voting when the town is in such a state is absolutely shocking.
