The midfield three that we have played for most of his home games are too similar. Howson, Morsy and Saville are just varying degrees of the same player. At home against sides you are looking to take the game to and beat you need someone with a bit more guile and invention. Tavernier has been underused in the central role. For me Morsy is not good enough when you are looking to break down sides. He is perfect for an away game where you need everyone to dig in, but he is very limited on the ball and is not going to create or score

I don't know if anyone had done an analysis of football as a whole during this lockdown period. My impression is that home advantage generally is not the same as it is when there were crowds. I don't have any data to back this up - so I may be wrong!
