Yes he had a really good game. There were a couple of threads bemoaning his lack of form and one or two were pointing to the fact that since he got his contract he hasn’t been half as bothered. Opinions seem to flounce between brilliant and meh on here depending on his latest performance.
 
It wouldn't do him any good if he acted like he wasn't bothered as warnock would pick up on that and drop him. I think his form suffered with the teams form.
 
let's not forget he's our top scorer-- all this after being on rehab for the past 2 years and any player whose job is to create and score goals is bound to have ups and downs. However, there's no mistaking that he's our most creative player in and around the box-- although Kebano is likely to challenge him. Watmore is no squad player he's the definite article and I'd bet that there will be teams like Burnley, Soton and Villa looking at him as he's got talent and he's at a decent age. If he scores 15 goals this season I think we'll lose him.
 
Thought he looked really lively last night. He's quick and decent movement.

Just adds something different to what we have. I never saw him as an actual forward and his goal record suggests he's not. So maybe we've 'found' his best position.

He's also a grafter. He put a right shift in and looked knackered at the end.
 
Dont forget he contracted Covid only a few weeks back too, so will be suffering the after effects of that.
